ThePediatric Fellowship Program Coordinator Iwill provide administrative support for multiple pediatric educational programs and trainees. Fellowship : Serve as contact person for the divisional program directors and coordinators interpretation and application of policies, procedures and program guidelines. Troubleshoot discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions to be taken. Collaborate in the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures and standards, and communicate associated changes. Identify and report compliance issues and assist in correcting situations resulting in duty hour violations. Ensures compliance with submission of Scholarship Oversight Committee documentation and maintains files. Monitors fellow graduation requirements including core curriculum program. Manages and coordinates weekly Fellow Research Conference, including scheduling, announcements and food. Coordinates department Clinical Competency Committee meetings and prepares reviews in New Innovations. Manages and monitors evaluations in New Innovations for all subspecialties. Ensures divisions submit required documentation to Graduate Medical Education Office, monitors Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education survey completion and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education WebADS updates. Schedules monthly Fellowship Advisory Committee Meetings with Program Directors and Coordinators, sends notices and records and distributes minutes. Monitors and oversees the fellowship recruitment process for the department, by providing guidance and direction for the divisional coordinators. On-Boarding: Develops, manages and monitors onboarding for all fellows and plans and implements orientation program and EPIC training. Prepares fellow funding sheets and contracts for incoming fellows and termination paperwork for fellows leaving the program. Processes new and renewal visa paperwork for international fellows. Grand Rounds: Works with Chief Resident to coordinate and manage the departmental Grand Rounds schedule. Contacts presenters and collects all required documentation for submission to the Continuing Medical Education Office. Arranges presenter travel and lodging and submits expense reports. Processes honorariums. Submits Continuing Medical Education application and supporting documentation for approval annually. Administers 5 named lectures annually, arranging travel and lodging, preparing itineraries and distributing brochures. Observerships: Manages and monitors all aspects of the observership program, including processing paperwork for sponsored observers for approval through Division Chief and Dean’s Office and coordinating scheduling to ensure appropriate learning and patient care environments are maintained. PME Administrative Support: Provides administrative support for Pediatric Medical Education Office by establishing relationships and acting as a liaison to other hospitals, internal departments, and divisions regarding resident recruitment, orientation, annual program affiliation agreements, and external rotations. Providing coverage, support and training for other program coordinators and assistants. Expected Salary: $42,000-$52,000; commensurate with education and experience Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
