This role will accomplish program objectives through matrixed employee teams and/or vendors who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to lead. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. + Responsible for achieving successful implementation of new and revised technical literature and labeling while ensuring best-in-class practices as a competitive advantage for the business. + Direct activities through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, and identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables across multiple functional organizations. + Oversees and manages the operational aspect of ongoing projects and serves as the liaison between project management and planning, project team and functional managers. + Partner with cross-functional Subject Matter Experts to establish and lead execution of technical communications strategy to promote efficiencies. + Coordinate with technical writers, project coordinators and graphic designers to track project scheduling and progress. + Apply and demonstrate strong leadership that results in a collaborative culture using clear, credible, objective, and proactive communication and stakeholder management, including communication with executive staff. + Ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost **Must Have: Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical communications, software or regulatory affairs. + OR, an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical communications program/project management **Nice to Have** + An advanced degree in Regulatory Affairs, Technical Writing or a technical field such as engineering + PMP Certification or other formal Project Management training and experience + Exceptional program/project management skills; knowledge of process and project planning best practices + Experience driving change management initiatives across an organization + Experience leading efforts in a regulated environment + Strong track record of leading complex initiatives requiring strong influence management skills and willingness and ability to institute change + Strong influence management skills; ability to work cooperatively at all levels in matrix environment to build and maintain the positive relationships required to accomplish organizational goals + Excellent communication skills and interpersonal/team effectiveness – ability to communicate to various levels of management and employees succinctly and accurately + Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking, project planning and project management + Exceptional analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills to effectively execute project plans and budgets + Experience with MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Workfront + Work with product development PMO to develop strategic plan for completing technical literature deliverables in an environment where there are often multiple cross-project dependencies. + Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts to assist with staffing plan, project prioritization and program strategy. + Attend various stakeholder meetings to represent the Technical Communications function, track progress, and provide status updates. ​ **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
