The Components division is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and optimization of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). This role is critical in driving technical excellence and aligning engineering initiatives with business strategy.
You will provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic oversight to a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables that support new product development, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturing efficiency. The Engineering Manager role is an on-site, heavily collaborative role, with occasional travel to meet with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Align engineering goals with Annual Plan (AP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) strategies.Translate internal customer needs and technical requirements into product roadmaps and development plans.Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and allocate engineering resources effectively.Use data and metrics to drive decisions that support the financial health of the business.Technology LeadershipStay informed on emerging PCBA and related technologies, balancing innovation with business value and risk.Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives for PCBA manufacturing and design.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all projects.What you need to do to be successful in this role:
Strong Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Effectively partners with engineers, suppliers, and business teams to develop and implement solutions.Adaptable: Remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.Project Management Skills: Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize tasks, and continuously improve processes.Problem-Solving: Demonstrating excellent technical and problem-solving abilities to address and resolve issues efficiently.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics preferred); Master’s or MBA a plus.10+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.5+ years of hands-on experience with PCB design, development, and manufacturing.Proficient in PCBA development and assembly processes through schematic/layout/DFM/DFT/prototypingWillingness to travel up to 15% as needed.Company Description
