Description
The Client Relations Associate supports Private Bank’s residential loan and commercial real estate loan products. They will focus on processing, evaluating, and completing financial analysis predominantly on residential loan requests and some commercial real estate loan requests. They assist clients with the loan application process and services their needs post-loan close. The Client Relations Associate has a thorough understanding of the loan origination process as well as servicing channels for Residential mortgage and deposit requests. The CRA also assists with credit analysis and prequalification, though specific loan product is dependent on their respective Relationship Manager.
Primary responsibilities include
Respond to client inquiries and servicing requests in a timely manner (response within 30 minutes, solution within 1-2 business days, varying on complexity).Assists their respective relationship manager with coordinating client meetings, events, and gifts.Manages the active loan pipeline, performing analysis, while assisting the client during the preapproval stage, through underwriting, closing, and post close.Field deposit related operation requests, including wires and transfers, assistance with online banking support, obtaining statements and tax documents, research requests, and more.Assist with preparing pre-approval letters, commitment letters, term sheets, and/or letters of intent.Support the underwriting needs for the Private Bank’s product offering ensuring turnaround time requirements are met. Verify accuracy and completeness of loan application file including; entering application information in origination systems, completing due diligence, order appraisal (and environmental report requests for CRE transactions).Proficient use of excel to complete financial analysis and spreads. Analyze borrower/guarantor income using tax returns, k-1’s, schedules of real estate etc. Review balance sheet, liquidity and post loan liquidity, calculate ratios, recognize and describe trends and identify recurring and non-recurring sources of cash flow and borrowers' ability to debt service.Cultivate strong and positive working relationships with partners to maintain extraordinary internal and external client service. Partners include: Bankers and Relationship Managers, Preferred Bankers, Lending Specialists, Loan Committee, Loan Servicing, Legal (internal and external), etc.Works closely with all members of the RM team and client as an additional point of contact to identify lending needs and solutions. Participates in continuous improvements by generating suggestions and problem solving activities.Qualifications
Proficient in K-1 analysis and reviewing/analyzing tax returns to evaluate income of borrowers/guarantors3+ years experience preferred in Residential, Loan Origination, Mortgage/Construction and Commercial real estate. Sound knowledge of the underwriting process.Bachelors Degree preferred with concentration in business, finance and/or accountingStrong decision-making, interpersonal and communication skills; including the ability to clearly understand complex concepts.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, and attention to detail.Self-motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work effectively with little supervision.Advanced familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SalesforcePay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $90K - $120K per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
