Payroll Taxes Specialist NAM Requisition ID: 41130 Job Location(s): Apodaca, MX **Job Description** **Job Description** The Payroll Taxes Specialist NAM ensures employees are paid accurately and on time, managing payroll functions, adjustments, payment history research, and special payment runs. They also review and reconcile payroll accounts and handle tax-related tasks. **Job Responsibilities** + Run and analyze Time and Attendance Reports, verify timesheets, Payroll Reports, and Deduction Reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy. + Generate payroll reports, including payroll registers, tax reports, statistical summaries, and ad hoc reports. Analyze and reconcile payroll data to resolve discrepancies. + Perform special payroll-related calculations such as retroactive payments, time off accruals, overpayments, and incentives. + Process payroll using UKG and instant checks as needed. Ensure timely and accurate payroll on a weekly and biweekly basis. + Research payroll, garnishments, and tax inquiries for employees, managers, and business partners. + Monitor weekly payroll changes and identify variances. + Conduct month-end close activities, including payroll account reconciliation, journal entries, and posting. + Maintain compliance to ensure audit integrity. + Handle tax-related tasks, including preparing and filing payroll tax returns and addressing tax-related inquiries and issues. **Background & Skills** **Required (basic) qualifications:** + Degree in a related field (recent graduate) + Basic understanding of accounting principles, including payroll, payroll taxes, and general ledger reconciliation + Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook + Experience with payroll systems such as UKG, ADP, Ceridian, Oracle, or Workday + Fluency in English-. + Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance **Preferred qualifications:** + Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + Experience with Dimensions with UKG + Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance requirements + Desire to learn and grow in managing payroll for large organizations **Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow** At Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
