Description We are in search of a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team in Carlsbad, California. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for facilitating audits and managing payroll staff. This role is critical in maintaining accurate payroll records and developing effective payroll processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, which includes salaries, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and other deductions. • Manage the payroll staff, encompassing the hiring, training, and daily workflow supervision. • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and adhere to best practices. • Conduct regular audits by supplying necessary records and documentation, and develop internal audit procedures. • Maintain and review payroll processing systems to guarantee accuracy and efficiency. • Handle payroll updates such as new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates in a timely manner. • Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports of all payroll transactions. • Assist the Shared Services team with special projects as needed. • Recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures when necessary. • Process bi-weekly payroll for over 2000 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
