Currently we are looking for talented people for the role of:
Payroll Specialist (German speaker)
Work location: Budapest, Hungary
The Payroll Specialist, reporting to the Regional Payroll Lead, provides detail-level payroll administration and payroll processing as part of the European Payroll team supporting the Germany region.
Your daily and weekly tasks will be as follows:
· Consolidate payroll data from various sources
· Submission of payroll data to external service providers
· Review calculations & work with provider on any necessary adjustments
· Generate gross to net, & net pay reports
· Arrange net payments to associates
· Discharge any other payroll associated liabilities (taxes, social contributions, insurances, pensions)
· Understanding and adhere to Audit and Compliance
· Maintain relevant Country payroll knowledge
· Keep key business partners up to date with any legislation changes for the local region
· Build & maintain strong working relationships with KBP (ie.HR, Finance, Stock Admin, Tax, Internal audit)
· Handle questions from employees regarding payroll.
· Ad hoc duties and special projects as requested by management.
Required skills:
· College/University degree
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position (end-to-end payroll), preferably in a multinational environment
· Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
· Good command of English and German both written and verbal
· Knowledge of People Soft or other ERP systems is a plus;
· Good communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Team player attitude
· Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload
