Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Goleta, California, 93117-3681, United States. As a Payroll Specialist, your role will be crucial in streamlining our payroll processes. You will be working with accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian, and will be tasked with maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing of payroll for entities in the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Utilize software tools like ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian for efficient payroll management • Conduct regular audits of payroll to ensure the accuracy of records and compliance with regulations • Understand and apply tax and reporting principles in payroll processing • Manage and reconcile receivables in accordance with company policies • Collaborate with the team to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency • Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records and manage 401k - RRSP Administration • Handle accounting functions related to payroll and employee benefits • Resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues promptly and professionally • Work with the business intelligence embedded in our system to generate useful insights and reports Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now software is essential • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is expected • Knowledge of About Time software is beneficial • Mastery over Accounting Functions is necessary • Auditing skills are required • Understanding of Benefit Functions is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
