Payroll Specialist

One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to process bi-weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
+ Maintain payroll records, including wages, deductions, benefits, and garnishments.
+ Verify timesheets and resolve discrepancies with employees and supervisors.
+ Ensure payroll transactions comply with federal, state, and company policies.
+ Prepare and submit payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
+ Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings.
+ Assist in processing new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments in the payroll system.
+ Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure payroll accuracy and data integrity.
Qualifications to Apply:
+ 2years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Knowledge of payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, or similar) and timekeeping software is preferred but not required
+ Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.
+ High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
