What You’ll Do…
Responsible for processing time, labor and payroll data using Lewis Tree processes and procedures ensuring on-time, accurate employee paychecks.
+ Payroll Workflow: Maintains knowledge and compliance of federal, state and local payroll regulations.
+ Responsible for preparation of certified payrolls
+ Prepares monthly union reporting and payments
+ Processes extra compensation payments, off-cycle check requests, pay adjustments and stop payments
+ Payroll Processing: Responsible for calculating, processing and reporting various employee payroll taxes and deductions including garnishments, union dues and benefits.
+ Responsible for importing and exporting various files within multiple systems.
+ Prepares, analyzes and disperses various reports on a regular basis.
+ Prepares monthly journal entries and account reconciliations and assists with audits.
+ Completes required statistical reports for various agencies
+ Communicates with the human resource department and other departments to obtain data to facilitate the completion of time and labor information, retroactive payments and PTO and vacation payouts.
+ Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
+ Customer Support: Serves as the point-of-service customer contact for employees by providing information and resolving issues associated with the processing of payroll data.
+ Administers and provides detailed report for 401K Compliance.
+ Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping payroll information confidential.

What You’ll Need…
+ Associates degree or equivalent training or experience
+ Two-Five years’ experience processing multi-state payroll
+ Experience in ERP and HRIS platforms (JDEdwards, Ultimate Software preferred)
+ High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
+ FPC or CPP certification preferred
