Description We are actively looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for handling payroll for a large number of employees and managing related tasks. This role presents an opportunity for a short term contract employment. This is a part-time need with about 20-25 hours per week. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate processing of payroll for a large number of employees • Administer 401k - RRSP and benefits functions • Handle Certified Payroll processes • Oversee and manage the full cycle of payroll operations • Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations • Handle payroll garnishments and manual payroll tasks • Utilize Dayforce software for various payroll tasks • Monitor and manage payroll for over 500 employees. Requirements • Proficiency in Dayforce software is essential. • Must have experience in 401k - RRSP Administration. • Familiarity with various Benefit Functions is required. • Certification in Payroll is expected. • Must be adept at handling Full Cycle Payroll. • Experience with Multi-state Payroll is needed. • Should have knowledge of Multistate Payroll. • Ability to manage Payroll - Garnishments is a must. • Must be capable of handling Payroll - Manual. • Experience in managing Payroll for Over 500 Employees is crucial.
