Job Summary:
The Payroll Specialist will oversee the organization's payroll functions, ensuring timely, accurate pay processing in compliance with government regulations. This role includes onboarding new employees, administering pay, benefits, and leave, enforcing company policies, and managing employee offboarding.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Enter and maintain payroll information, including hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, time worked, paid leave, holidays, deductions, withholding, and address changes.Ensure accurate processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.Reconcile payroll to the general ledger system and maintain accurate records.Implement and maintain payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Experience with Netchex and DealerTrack preferred.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required.Three to five years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:
