MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo validate and capture payroll inputs supplied by either HR departments at Hospital level or Service Centre, offer payroll processing, correction advice and support these departments according to the Mediclinic policies and procedure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Manage the payroll process administration Provide payroll support to Mediclinic Southern Africa, ER24 & Namibia Provide systems support and guidance Calculate tax and UIF and answer queries Perform payroll validation and audit processes REQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Tertiary Education in Finance / Human Resources / PayrolDESIRED EDUCATION
3 year Diploma/ Degree in Finance / Payroll / Human Resources REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years experience in corporate payroll environmenDESIRED EXPERIENCE
5 years experience in corporate payroll environment Experience in SAP REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Computer skills in Word and Excel, with experience in using spreadsheets and databases Knowledge and understanding of SARS codes for tax calculation purposes Knowledge of computerised payroll software Understanding of HR and Remuneration principles Understanding of ongoing legislative changes which affect payroll (e.g. POPIA) Understanding of payroll terminology and processAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
