What awaits you: Will serve as the first point of contact for the Windsor union employees for all issues and grievances related to payroll, attendance, lay-off, OT, and other related topicsAnswer and problem solve employees’ queries about HR-related issuesWill own the payroll, timekeeping, attendance, and some disciplinary investigations and actions for bargain employeesManage payroll by providing relevant employee information, resolving issues, making system updates, and processing payrollDaily interaction with supervisors and/or union representatives involving topics such as payroll, timekeeping, attendance, disciplinary actions, etc.Works council in operational daily businessResponsible for managing Internship programsWill support the HR Manager in addressing issues related to compensation, health and welfare benefits programs, etc.Update internal databases and employment statuses including all employee data information in Peoplesoft, Resources for You and KronosOrganize and maintain personnel recordsResponsible for training including entry into the HR system, tracking of training, etc.Support audits (HR and IATF) by ensuring relevant information is updated and meets requirementsPrepare HR documents such as employment contracts and new hire guides, onboarding and othersUse Kautex internal system for contract paymentsSupport the revision of site-specific company policies by providing input and gathering input from business leadersLiaise with partners, such as other HR team members, legal, vendors, site department leadership, etc.Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. KPI, attrition, absenteeism, diversity)Participate in HR projects and initiatives such as Wellness, recognition events, engagement etc.Collaboration in project-orientated tasksImprove HR processes and efficienciesOwn Overtime Equalization processOther Duties that may arise within the department
