Payroll Assistant

Job Summary: Performs a variety of payroll and related duties in order to accurately and in a timely manner pay CaroMont Health employees for wages earned and any business expense reimbursements. To process employee garnishments as required by law. To perform other assigned duties as requested. Assists Payroll Coordinator and Payroll Specialist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred. Two years of payroll experience required. Knowledge of payroll, accounting, and benefit procedures. Experience with automated payroll application systems. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills required. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
