Responsible for the overall management, implementation, execution, and completion of Xanterra’s Workforce Management solution over the next 18 months. The overall project has components of process, technology and organization improvements which must be overseen by this role, working in concert with stakeholders across Payroll, HR, IT, and Operations. Responsibilities • Work in lock step with the System Integrator to lead the planning and implementation of Dayforce Payroll and Timekeeping. This position is the key connection point between Xanterra, the System Integrator, and Dayforce. • Assemble and coordinate functional project teams from Payroll, HR, IT, and Operations. Provide direction and support to project teams. • Provide project oversight and governance to project organization, communication, decision escalation management, issue and risk mitigation and management, deliverable acceptance and project change and financial control management. • Manage project budget for both the System Integrator and Dayforce, and project resource allocation. • Plan and schedule project timelines and track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Implement quality assurance protocols and test/monitor deliverable quality to ensure achievement of project requirements. Implement and manage project changes to achieve expected project outputs • Work closely with Quality Assurance Analyst to develop and document a comprehensive Testing Strategy to include approach, reporting, requirements, resources and work plan. • Develop and document a comprehensive Deployment Strategy, success criteria, resource plans, reporting, requirements, and schedule. • Develop Communication Schedule with Xanterra and track completion of scheduled notifications to the business. • Provide support and facilitation to Xanterra’s Learning and Development organization for training approach, development, delivery and completion. Ensure training has complete approach for process and system proficiency. • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. Develop and provide reports and/or dashboards showing project progress, problems and solutions. • Schedule and work with the System Integrator to coordinate a monthly Executive Steering Committee meeting to review the overall progress of the project and provide a budget update. • Work with project teams to ensure delivery of best practice, streamlined and automated processes along with efficient system configurations to meet enterprise goals. Assist with development of new standard processes where applicable. • Guide project teams and organization in communication and change management to effectively make the transition to a new platform. • Where required, execute the decision escalation process to the Executive Steering Committee for any issues unresolved by the functional design teams. Qualifications • College degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Dayforce Implementation, Project Management and Technology. • Qualification in project management or equivalent work experience. • Knowledge of project management techniques, tools and software, with direct work experience in project management capacity. • Hospitality, lodging, cruise or travel experience is a plus but not required, • Strong oral and written communication skills-ability to synthesize and present data clearly. • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to interact with team members at all levels of the organization and with cross functional teams to ensure cost control and process improvements. • Proven experience in risk and change management. • Key competencies include: critical thinking and problem solving skills, planning and organizing, decision-making, influencing and leading, team building, conflict management and adaptability. COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 based on experience.
