Payroll Analyst

Position Summary:

The Payroll Analyst processes the biweekly payroll for a portion of the Crozer organization. This role will review any payroll corrections and determine if an adjustment is needed. They review changes that are processed in Oracle and verify that they were updated in Ceridian Dayforce and API time and attendance systems.

Process the Biweekly payroll. Analyze and process any payroll corrections that are needed. Validate changes that are processed in our HRIS are updated in our Payroll and timekeeping systems. Enter Wage Attachments and Union Dues deductions. Manage employee time off accruals. Create documentation for new procedures. Willingly and readily, assists all internal and external customers as needed, looking beyond individual scope of service. Assists customers through resolution of problem whenever possible. In instances where assistance cannot be provided personally, directs customer to the appropriate individual and/or location. Register and setting up new tax jurisdictions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent payroll experience. Understanding of federal, state and local tax laws. Working knowledge of a HR ERP and time and attendance systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. High proficiency in computer. Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Payroll Certificate Hospital or Healthcare experience. Union Payroll experience Ceridian Dayforce or Oracle ERP system. API Time and Attendance system.

Skills:

 

High degree of attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft suite, Ceridian Dayforce and or Oracle payroll systems, along with API experience. Knowledge of payroll taxation.
