Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Payroll Accountant in Burlingame, California. Our industry requires an individual who can manage accounting tasks with meticulous attention to detail. The work will be conducted in a hybrid environment, offering a mix of onsite and remote work. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll processes for multiple entities. • Administer employee benefits, ensuring accurate entries in payroll general ledger. • Reconcile payroll details with financial statements, utilizing QuickBooks Desktop and ADP Workforce Now. • Promptly respond to and resolve payroll inquiries, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations. • Assist with general ledger entries, reconciliation, and the closing process at the end of each month and quarter. • Prepare financial statements, including but not limited to, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis. • Support occasional accounting tasks and internal audits as needed. • Improve efficiencies in payroll and benefits processes. • Participate in cross-functional accounting projects as required.
