Insight Global is looking for a Payroll Accountant in Charlotte, NC for one of our large insurance firms. On a day-to-day, this person will be running the accounting functions for the payroll department. This role will be responsible for owning payroll-related balance sheets, managing payroll requisitions, cleaning up accounts, and tracking tax and payroll in the profit and loss statement. Additionally, they will be reviewing payroll reports, reconciling general ledger activity, and doing journal entries. The ideal candidate for this role must have full cycle accounting experience and a strong understanding of payroll as that will be needed for the day-to-day responsibilities. This role will work closely with the HR and finance departments to maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
