Job Overview:

Located in Tonawanda, New York, LGUS Accounting Shared Services provides financial services for a variety of businesses within the United States. The group functions as a primary resource to Linde Gases US. LGUS Shared Services consists of Accounting Standards/Sarbanes Oxley, Export Compliance, Accounts Payable, Business Reporting, Capital Accounting, General Accounting, Payroll and Benefits Accounting, Customer Financial Services, and Financial Report and Analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

Reconciling bank statements including payroll checking and multi-account reconciliationsHandling and processing daily wires and monthly invoices to benefit carriersPosting monthly payroll interface filesHandling and processing monthly remittances to unions for dues and Health Welfare and Pension. Requires a high attention to detail to ensure continual compliance with collective bargaining agreements.Maintaining and updating documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley disclosuresWorking with internal and external payroll/benefits contacts to quickly resolve discrepanciesDeveloping a strong working relationship with corporate payroll/benefits staffOther general accounting duties, as necessary
