Payments - Liquidity and Account Solution - Associate

As a Payments - Liquidity and Account Solution - Associate, you will responsible for end-to-end solution design to ensure funds are available at the right time, in the right location, and the right currency – whether the client is the treasurer of a traditional corporate, a marketplace or platform, or the product manager of a fintech that provides payment services to its end consumer. This means determining the right account type and location and the optimal automated funding and multi-currency solution to support both the financial and commercial transaction of the client.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate as the specialist on client/prospect calls and develop solutions tailored to clients’ specific needs; Actively drive RFP responses by being instrumental in delivering client pitches Identify key areas of opportunity for client treasuries to actively position liquidity and account solutions to support intercompany trade or (merchant) settlement flows Apply all-round experience in various areas of liquidity and account structuring, and regulatory know-how with regards to corporates and licensed non-bank financial institutions, including third party money considerations. Display expertise and in-depth knowledge to handle client conversations, stakeholder engagement (with the ability to influence product build) Actively apply knowledge of key industry trends/technological advancements (for e.g. data science/digital transformation initiatives, Block chain and other innovations in the Fintech space) Ensure understanding of the risk attributes to Liquidity & Account Solutions, the client segments, and how the solutions are being used Contribute to a robust risk & control environment and demonstrate expected risk & control behaviors Identify, escalate and remediate any issues in a timely manner Implement business of inclusion, best practices across the wider liquidity & account solutions team and extended stakeholder group Partner with corporate bankers and treasury sales to proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities, understand client buying and usage behavior, and the impact of regulations on their decisions Create focused programs to support effective sales targeting and delivery of balance/ revenue plans including training on sales enablement and product positioning Drive deeper understanding of the external environment: competition, economy, regulation, client behavior

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelors degree in Finance or related equivalent Minimum 2 year experience in markets/client facing functions such as corporate banking, fintech or eCommerce product/sales and preferably in treasury management or payments Demonstrated experienc in liquidity management or payment solutions regionally and globally Familiarity with market and industry trends including regulatory changes impact the treasury services industry, and technological advancements such as blockchain Awareness of domestic and international tax/accounting implications of liquidity and account solutions, from clients’ perspective Execution-oriented self-starter who likes to take initiative and is able to deliver in efficient and effective manner Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating experience of operating successfully within larger cross-functional organizations Strong understanding and appreciation of the regulatory and control environment Strong verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills Strong organizational and strategic skills
