As a Payments Transformation Design & Delivery Project Management - Vice President you will lead platform transformation projects for the Payments operations across multiple regions. The role provides opportunities to work on projects across Latin America Payments business. Additionally, successful candidates will be involved in initiatives focused on accelerating Digital and Platform Services priorities. There will be significant exposure & visibility to senior management. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals with advanced problem solving and communications skills.
The role will require working with stakeholders across the CIB, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Lateral contacts in business, technology, operations, product and client facing organizations firm wide would need to be developed and mined for best practices and for driving outcomes.
Job responsibilities:
Lead robust platform/systems migration across Latin America Manage Latin America Payments Platform transformation projects and related services including execution of business requirement, implementation and data analytics. Design and deliver best project management strategy to improve operational experience. Partner with Product, Operations, and Technology to identify barriers preventing efficient change deliverables. Develop multi-year roadmap, detailed project plan, and milestone delivery across multiple teams. Determine and consolidate metrics exhibiting progress against business benefits. Prepare senior management presentations highlighting progress against milestones, risks, issues, and any barriers requiring escalation. Ability to negotiate and influence senior partners and colleagues within the project team and ensure a consistent collaborative approach.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Deep understanding of payments and collections platforms and operational processing systems. Analytical mindset with ability to perform meaningful analysis, understand and explain underlying drivers (i.e. tell the story behind the numbers) Strong presentation skills including generating documents and effectively communicating to all levels including senior management Strong communication, time management and prioritization skills Project Management experience with 5+ years managing complex transformation projects Experience in Payments Business required. Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Economy, Business or related areas – required. Agile methodology skills required. Fluent in English and Spanish.
