Job Description

This position will ensure the processing of multiple payrolls in a timely manner and in accordance with State and Federal laws and Omni’s internal standards. Additional tasks include identifying inconsistencies, improvement opportunities, and quality assurance throughout the payroll process.

 

This is a part-time position. 

Responsibilities Process and distribute corporate and centralized hotel payroll for multiple locationsEnter and balance any manual earning and deductions, i.e. service charges, tips, meal deductions, bonuses and incentives, retroactive pay, etc.Process all vacation, sick days, personal days, holiday pay, jury pay and bereavement pay adjustmentsResearch and resolve discrepancies related to payrollMaintain neat and organized confidential files related to Payroll Administer all garnishment orders and verify each garnishment for accuracy every payroll.Run monthly reports as required for month-end and tip reporting purposes.Perform any other payroll-related functions as directed by the Director of Payroll or Payroll ManagerBe available to assist the corporate audit team and provide any/all requested payroll-related informationMust learn internal audit requirements and uphold standards on a consistent basis; adhering to standards as instructed by of Director of Payroll or Payroll ManagerProvide outstanding guest service to all associatesProvide field with payroll reports requestedPrepare and coordinate all old payroll files for storageGeneral office duties including routine correspondence, filing, copying and faxingTrain new paymasters using documented training materials Qualifications Prior payroll related experience Ability to work independently with minimum supervisionGood analytical abilitiesExcellent communication skillsAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to work under pressureProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple prioritiesAbility to maintain confidentialityMaintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performanceExcellent customer service skills
