**Patrol/Guard Shack Security Officer – Paid Weekly!** **Location:** South Barrington, IL **Rate:** $18.50/hour **Shift:** Mon-Thurs 2pm-9pm At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. The ideal candidates we are seeking will be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness. **What Your Day May Look Like:** + Patrol Duties: Regularly patrol the warehouse premises, including the interior and exterior areas, to monitor for any suspicious activity or security risks. + Access Control: Monitor and control access points to the warehouse, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the premises. This may include checking employee identification and visitor logs. Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify any potential security breaches or emergencies. Respond promptly to any alerts or disturbances. + Incident Response: Respond to security incidents or alarms, such as thefts, disturbances, or other emergencies, and report findings to management or law enforcement. + Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of security activities, including incident reports, security breaches, and daily patrol logs. Ensure documentation is kept up to date for future reference. + Preventative Security Measures: Identify and report potential security weaknesses and suggest improvements to management. Implement measures to deter theft, vandalism, and other risks. + Safety Compliance: Ensure that safety protocols and procedures are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. + Emergency Response: Be prepared to act in emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, or other critical incidents.
