Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager, the Patient Satisfaction Liaison supports the delivery of services that promote a positive experience for patients and guests.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma required

Previous customer service and administrative experience/training

Proficiency in Word and Outlook

Preferred:

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Previous experience working in an acute care setting Bachelor s degree

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift: DayStatus: Full Time (37.5hrs.)Time: 9 am 5 pmRotating weekend shifts One Weekend shift per monthAbility of variable shifts, when needed

Essential Functions:

The patient representative collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to obtain feedback from patients and guests, proactively manage patient needs, and support the response to concerns.Duties include, but are not limited to: rounding in patient care areas, addressing opportunities to provide a high level of service in real-time, performing post-discharge follow-up calls, management of complaints/grievances, providing support for staff development, and assisting with promoting language service utilization.Role will require coverage of all inpatient units during designated shift hours, with expectation of assisting with Emergency Department coverage, when needed.
