As a Patient Flow Coordinator you will:

Partner with the clinical staff to coordinate all procedures, interdepartmental and intradepartmental patient flow to maximize the efficiency of the schedule and provide assistance to patients while in the Imaging Services Depatment.Provides basic patient assistance with dressing and undressing, guidance through test procedures, and safe transfer of patients into procedural areas. Provides basic patient care (assistance to bathroom, use of bedpan/urinal).Utilizes our patient tracking system to communicate the schedule, patient location and procedure status within the department with a high degree of accuracy.Generates patient reports and collects data elements as requested.Utilizes other computer programs  to support effective movement of patients to other hospital departmentsPartners with receptionist and technologists to create the daily schedule, maximizing procedure room use to accommodate inpatient, outpatient, ED will call patients and add-on patients.Works with all inpatient units to facilitate timely patient movement and completion of studies.Coordinates all patient transportation to and from the department.
