Essential Job Function: Assisting patients with activities of daily living Obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights Assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities Performing post mortem care Measuring and recording I & O Performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring Observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the RN Maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma or GED required + Completion of Healthcare Provider Course within six months required Certfication: + BLS preferred; required within 3 months of hire Relevant Experience: Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the Care Center + 6 months prior healthcare experience with patient care experience preferred
