Short Description

Observes and reports to the RN for all significant changes in patient’s condition Prepares and sets up for suturing Applies appropriate monitoring devices such as cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter, non-invasive blood pressure, and Dinamap  Takes and records vital signs, height and weights, measures and records fluid intake and output, collects specimensPerforms electrocardiogramsAssists patients with activities of daily living (e.g. preparing patient for and assisting with meals, bathing)One-on-one observation with required documentation. Close observation monitoringDemonstrates proficient computer skillsAbility to follow through with physician orders Assist with transport of patients within the hospital Maintains safe and orderly environment by stocking patient care areasResponds to patient/family requests in timely mannerAssists with orthopedic procedures by applying posterior splintsOther duties as assigned

Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. 

Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.
