Position Information:
The Patient Accounts Representative is responsible for following up on hospital accounts in an accurate and timely manner and  follows guidelines that result in the most complete reimbursement possible and possess knowledge of payor guidelines. Working knowledge of insurance and managed care industries required. Basic medical diagnosis and procedure coding knowledge preferred.  Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Accounting/Finance - Billing In Healthcare Required - And 3 Years Accounting/Finance - Billing Preferred

Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent  Required - And Associate's Degree Accounting Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Not Applicable

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday (schedule to be determined)

Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends

Call Requirements:
