Patient Access Specialist II

Current Schedule: Week One:  Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3:30pm – 12:00am / Week Two:  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:30pm-12:00am Do you like being a first point of contact and creating a positive first impression? Then consider this role!! In this position you would have responsibility for completing the financial clearance process within Patient Access. The Patient Access Services Representative must be able to articulate information in a manner that patients, guarantors and family members understand and so know what to expect with regard to their responsibilities. Various action items include: Completing the pre-registration, registration, insurance verification Interviewing patients and guarantors to gather insurance information and verifying eligibility. In this role you will also work with medical staff, nursing, ancillary departments, and insurance payors. Provide scheduling and registration support for patients. Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to patients, families, and other customers through consistently demonstrating Fairview behaviors through all interactions with our patients. Interacts with patients and families in challenging and unique situations that may require de-escalation skills. Manage daily worklists and resolve assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
