About the Position: Responsible for facilitating the patient registration flow, including such activities as point of service patient identification; gathering demographic information; securing and verifying financial and third party data; obtaining required signatures and documents needed for compliance and appropriately collecting co-payment and reconciling cash. This position will also receive emergency patient arrivals and work with other departments to ensure flow for the patient under protocol. May also be responsible for appropriately directing incoming patient calls via electronic encounter or transfer to the care team; managing appointment calls in a timely manner while ensuring scheduling will meet the needs of our patients. The position requires a high level of customer service skills; ability to multi-task under stressful situations while establishing positive relationships with co-workers and patients. What we are looking for: + High School diploma or GED required; AA degree or a certification in the healthcare field strongly preferred. + One year customer service experience required; healthcare field preferred. + One year of computer experience required; electronic health record preferred.
