TI’s legal department is seeking a talented Patent Attorney with a background in an area such as digital signal processors, microcontrollers, processor architecture, wireless communication circuitry, analog circuit design, and/or semiconductor device manufacturing. As a Patent Attorney at TI, you will immerse yourself in our cutting-edge technologies, developing a thorough understanding that will enable you to create inventive patent strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conducting in-depth analysis of various technologies.
+ Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in alignment with strategic goals.
+ Collaborating with engineering teams to identify patentable inventions.
+ Developing and maintaining a portfolio of patents in the designated area of expertise.
+ Providing legal counsel on patent-related matters, including infringement and licensing.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
+ Juris Doctor (JD) degree
+ 4+ years of patent prosecution experience
+ Registration as a patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
+ Admission in good standing with a state legal bar
+ Experience with patent application drafting and prosecution
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ 3+ years of experience as an engineer or scientist in a technical role
+ Experience and familiarity with digital signal processors, microcontrollers, processor architecture, wireless communication circuitry, analog circuit design, and/or semiconductor device manufacturing
