Dewberry is currently looking for a Party Chief to perform a variety of tasks associated with land surveying and civil engineering in our Lanham, MD office. 

 

Responsibilities Perform land survey aspects of civil engineering projectsPerform Construction StakeoutField work associated with land surveyingPerform Boundary Surveys & ALTA/ACSM Land Title SurveysAssisting with survey computations and data collectionPerform Computer-sided design and draftingOther duties as assigned Required Skills & Required Experience A minimum of 5 years of working experienceAssociates or Bachelors Degree in Surveying is preferredAble to operate Robotic Total Stations, GPS, static, RTK, RTNFamiliarity with Trimble and/or Topcon Robotics, TSC2 Data CollectorsAbility to shoot TopographyWilling to learn and use GPS and Robotic InstrumentationAbility to work remotely required under rigorous conditionsCertified Survey Technician, level II or III (CST) or ability to obtain within specified timeframeUtility locating experience a plusFamiliarity with Trimble Survey Controller, Trimble Access, Carlson SurvCE software a plusExcellent communication skillsMust be reliable

Additional Requirements:

Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work areaMust have and maintain a valid driver’s license in order to operate company vehicleMust be able to pass drug/alcohol screening
