Parts & Services Manager
Role Summary

Scania Export Markets Asia (SEMA) is currently being established as a Business Unit within the Commercial Operations AOR region to drive the Scania business in the markets in the region with appointed independent distributors and dealers – including Indonesia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei and New Caledonia – and to realize the full growth potential in these markets.

 

We are now looking for a driven Parts & Services Manager with strong informal leadership and communication skills to help drive this growth journey.

 

About the team
SEMA will be a team of approximately 10 people dedicated to working with the assigned markets and will be based across different countries in the region. The current team of six SEMA employees represents five different nationalities and brings experience from vastly different backgrounds, markets and parts of the business within the company.

 

About the role
As a Parts & Service Manager you will join the SEMA team and be responsible for working together with your colleagues at SEMA and the independent distributors and dealers in The Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei and New Caledonia to grow the sales of Scania genuine parts, services and solutions. You will hence have a very important contribution to realizing the growth potential in the market. A key to success in the role will be your ability to communicate and build relations and trust across cultures in order to gain full leverage of your knowledge and experience.
The geographical base of the position is flexible and decided on a case-by-case basis, but preferably in Southeast Asia. 

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

In close collaboration with SEMA colleagues and the independent distributors and dealers formulate and execute strategic activities to develop the Scania commercial parts and services retail business in the markets. Coach the independent distributors and dealers in implementing, using and following Scania’s standards, processes, systems and methods. Identify and address competence development opportunities within the commercial parts and services organizations of the independent distributors and dealers. Connect the independent distributors and dealers with relevant stakeholders and support functions within Scania.

 

Your profile

Strong knowledge of and experience in Scania’s commercial parts and services business in a retail environment (contracted services, parts retail pricing etc.). End-customer focused with a commercial mindset. Previous experience of working in an emerging market. Cultural openness and humility and a calm and patient attitude. A wide network within Scania. Fluent in written and spoken English.
