Role Definition: The primary goal is to support the Product Support & Logistics (PSLD) division’s effort in achieving the inventory and customer service objectives. As a Parts Inventory Analyst, you are responsible for facility performance levels to corporate targets for inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results. You will lead facility efforts to develop and implement the Plan for Every Part, and improved throughput efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing Business and System support to production and supplier withdrawals.

Performing work to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved parts availability. 

Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.

Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.

Working effectively with diverse, multi-functional teams to apply the supply chain logistics process and leading team efforts to develop a lean parts distribution network. 

Degree Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Math’s / Science / Commerce.

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Supply chain management, Logistics, 3PL, Warehousing, Service parts Logistics and supplier performance management.

Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage organization's materials, commodities, merchandises, or products.

Manage daily/weekly service loss analysis and share RCCA for top loss parts. Involves detailed root cause analysis for discrepancy between systems and documentation of the same.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

 Level Extensive Experience:

Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience. Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need or defending a position. Communicates well downward, upward, and outward.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Level Extensive Experience:

Organizes potential problem solvers and leads problem resolution efforts. Uses varying problem-solving approaches and techniques as appropriate. Develops successful resolutions to critical or wide-impact problems.

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

Level Working Knowledge:

Assesses common problems and obstacles surrounding data-gathering. Interprets and explains results of a data-gathering initiative. Participates in projects to gather data for needs analysis.

Data Visualization: Knowledge of principles, techniques and processes of data visualization; ability to create high quality figures effectively for various business scenarios and storytelling.

Level Working Knowledge:

Creates figures for regular data visualization tasks in an honest and compelling way. Develops or uses appropriate tools and software, such as Tableau and Power BI to generate different types of data visualization. Follows established standards and procedures to obtain, aggregate and analyze data for visualization.
