Parts Counterperson
Overall Summary

Provide customers (both internal and external) requested parts and accessories in a timely manner. In addition to specifying the correctly needed items, the Parts Counterperson is responsible to solicit additional sales; charges out merchandise using the Dealer Management System, follow-up on special orders, tag, store and process warranty parts, assist in conducting inventory cycle counts and keep inventory area, parts counter and retail area/displays clean and orderly.

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Hyundai Parts Advisor to join our team at Wile Hyundai. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service by providing them with accurate information and guidance on Hyundai parts and accessories. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Hyundai vehicles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and determine their Hyundai parts and accessories requirements.
Provide expert advice and recommendations on Hyundai OEM parts, accessories, and maintenance items.
Utilize Hyundai parts catalogues and inventory systems to accurately identify parts availability and pricing.
Assist customers in selecting the correct parts based on vehicle model, year, and specific requirements.
Process parts orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of parts transactions and customer interactions using our dealership’s computer systems.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with Hyundai products, parts, and service bulletins to provide accurate information to customers.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts counter area and parts inventory storage.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive parts is preferred.
Proven experience as a Parts Advisor in a Hyundai dealership or similar automotive environment.
Strong knowledge of Hyundai vehicle systems, parts, and accessories.
Familiarity with Hyundai parts catalogues, inventory management systems, and dealership software (Automate).
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
