What You’ll Do:
You bring your knowledge of the auto industry and perhaps even some previous experience with fleet maintenance, or other areas of the automotive/trucking industry. You'll be responsible for ordering parts and providing the best customer experience. You will:
You’ll help answer calls and emails, assisting our internal customers with their needs for parts, cost estimates, procurement timelines, and more.
You’ll support incoming correspondence, calls, and tasks with vendors and technicians in a timely manner.
You’ll manage the parts inventories assigned to mobile technicians and service trucks, perform cycle counts and redistribute any unused parts to other technicians or return them to vendors.
You’ll order parts, perform part runs, deliver inventory to technicians in the field, and perform duties around shipping and receiving.
You’ll connect with our vendors via email, fax, or phone to provide or obtain purchase order approvals and discuss any billing questions.
You’ll keep up with all necessary paperwork and upload it into our system.
You’ll create and catalogue weekly and monthly inventory reports, as well as perform accurate cycle counts, inventory checks. You’ll also track and update parts in the system and in the field.
Naturally, you’ll provide excellent customer service, always going above and beyond our internal customers’ expectations.
You’ll always maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
We’ll look for you to attend any management meetings that require your presence.

Minimum:
High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience in a commercial/diesel vehicle repair shop and/or fleet service department as a Parts Associate; or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Confident with numbers, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Use fractions, and decimals
You’ve got rock solid organizational and time management skills, and an almost obsessive attention to detail.
Strong computer skills, requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
You’ve also got the knack for learning new systems quickly, (such as IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, and RO Writer).
Preferred:
Some Automotive Parts experience is helpful here.
Mechanical savvy, as well as the ability to learn about new parts and processes.
