How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Parts Coordinator, you will provide customer service support to internal and external partners to enhance customer experience and drive sales. This includes responding to web inquiries, providing marketing support and aftermarket order administration support.

 

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

 

1. Order Management

Monitor Parts inbox Enter purchase orders, RMA’s and warranty orders pertaining to parts into SAP Complete shipping transactions in SAP Verify customer information in SAP Confirm lead times Determine pricing and availability Provide quotes to customers Enter manufactured part orders into the Engineering database and notify scheduler Review and run month end reports

 

2. Customer Support

Respond to customer inquiries Communicate order acknowledgements, tracking and shipment information to customers Provide technical information as required

 

3. Part Shipments

Back-up Material Handler in shipping out parts Schedule shipments with FED-EX/UPS Pack parts

 

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

 

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong technical background with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and products Familiarity with SAP or ERP system Familiarity with engineering documents Excellent communication Detailed oriented approach, ensuring accuracy and completeness in data entry and reporting Self-directed and organized, exhibiting strong initiative, and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple priorities in a fast paced and changing environment Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) Proficiency in CRM software Ability to get certified on material handling equipment (forklift)

High School Diploma required

As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $36,900-$50,700 and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect.   We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process.  At SPX, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors.  This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus, subject to the rules governing the plan.  SPX offers a variety of benefits, including health benefits, 401K retirement with a company match, and flexible time off.   More information about our benefits can be found on the “Rewards and Benefits” section of our career page.
