Parts Coordinator
Job Title: Parts CoordinatorJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Parts Coordinator to handle parts distribution to customers and technicians, as well as support inventory, shipping, and receiving. The role also includes some grounds maintenance and housekeeping functions within our facilities and warehouse. This position requires effective communication, organization, attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment. Responsibilities + Distribute parts to customers and technicians at customer locations or job sites as necessary. + Perform distribution services including receiving, shipping, and inventory control. + Follow all safe loading and unloading principles to ensure the safety and security of all. + Maintain inventory integrity by thoroughly and accurately receiving merchandise and auditing outbound orders for accuracy. + Support filing freight claims for damaged goods as needed. + Operate all types of warehousing equipment and machinery. + Perform some grounds maintenance, such as snow shoveling and dumpster access, as necessary. + Perform some housekeeping functions, such as lightbulb replacement, and other tasks, as necessary. + Represent the company positively to other trades, contractors, and owners. + Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Essential Skills + Effective internal and external communication skills. + Strong organizational skills. + Attention to detail. + Reliability and punctuality. + Ability to work well in a team environment. + Proficiency in complex systems, particularly HVAC, mechanical, controls, and site-built systems. + Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, including high/low voltage power circuits, control sequence setup, airflow, refrigeration circuit arrangements, and various heating and hydronic systems. + Computer skills are essential. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED. + Clear driving record with a current valid license. + Experience in Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Construction, Parts, or Inventory industry is a plus. + Moderate PC skills in Microsoft Office 2007 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. + Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills. Work Environment The company has a team of 50 employees and serves a diverse range of clients including mechanical contractors, general contractors, developers, owners, and consulting companies. The work environment includes the use of various technologies and equipment, with responsibilities that may require overtime or weekend work. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
