The mission of A Bolder Way Forward (BWF), an initiative of the Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP), is to make Utah a place where more girls and women can thrive in any setting. The Partnership Coordinator serves a critical role in finding, establishing, maintaining, and coordinating relationships with potential and existing partners. This person will have enthusiasm for connecting organizations (e.g., business, nonprofit, education, government) to the UWLP and BWF and will be influential in inspiring them to consider ways they can contribute to positive change. This role requires a strong team player who demonstrates a passion for connecting and networking in the community. Must have outstanding interpersonal relationship skills and be a creative and tenacious problem-solver with excellent prioritization and time-management skills. The position requires the ability to work independently, as well as a strong willingness to collaborate with other stakeholders. This position is telework eligible within the state of Utah.
Responsibilities Partner Management–40%Maintain a comprehensive list of potential/active partners and contacts.Ensure effective communication between all those involved in partnerships, including UWLP staff, spoke, impact team, and/or county leadership.Monitor and report on partnership progress and outcomes.Develop process for tracking partner recognition and ensure follow-through at various stages of partnership.Maintain and deepen professional and positive working relationships with partners by inviting them to participate in events, campaigns, initiatives, etc.Partner Outreach – 50%Identify new partnership opportunities and propose strategies for growth.Liaise with the UWLP Director and Statewide Impact Manager to identify, approach, and manage partners.Develop and implement strategies to recruit and convert partners.Communicate the value of partnership and return on investment.Partner Onboarding – 10%Onboard new partners by providing training, documentation, and support to ensure a smooth integration process.Cultivate strong relationships with partner representatives, acting as a first-line resource for questions and ongoing support. Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, business, or related field; and two or more years of professional experience in managing partner relationships.Professional oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated experience successfully planning and managing a large and varied group of partners.Understanding of partnership strategies, including communication of partner impact.Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and collaborative; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, supporters, and community members.Passion to support the mission and goals of UWLP and BWF.Preferred Qualifications
Established connections with a wide variety of organizations, businesses, professionals in private and public sectors, both for- and not-for-profit.Knowledge of and involvement in women’s efforts and groups in Utah.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as be self-driven to complete tasks and meet deadlines.Solid verbal and written communication skills.
