Project Title: Mega Grant (Research Assistant, Level 1) Asian Cohort for Alzheimer's Disease (ACAD): Community Outreach Project (Resarch Staff) Position Title/Summary: Part-Time Research Assistant (RA) - Level 1 The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible for ensuring proper implementation of the project work plan. The RA will facilitate communication among members of the study team, assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in preparing monthly and annual reports and handing all data obtained in English from Malawi and will participate in the work on manuscripts. The study involves recruiting approximately 160 Malawian participants with and without HIV infection and the use of Chichewa (Malawian language) translated data collection forms. Proposed Start and End Date: April 2025 to April 2027 Duties and Responsibilities: + Liaise with collaborators, site coordinators. + Collaborate with Malawian research program manager to develop a surveillance registry for potential research participants and to monitor participant enrollment and retention. + Assist with other general office duties (e.g. schedule team meetings, copying, filing, and organizing research documents) + Support research administration as needed and perform other related activities as required. Research staff: U19 ACAD Study: Community Outreach Project: Other Duties and Responsibilities: + Assist in developing community outreach materials and maintain community outreach website at UPenn ACAD and NYU ACAD sites. + Translate the materials into Korean or translate Korean materials into English. + Work with PM on recruitment core and ethnic coordinators. + Generate multimedia plans to increase awareness of the project. + Coordinate marketing strategies with the U19 Community Outreach Core group. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual total base pay for this position is $15,600 or $30 per hour (10 hours per week).
