Description
**PART TIME ROLE OF 24-28 hours per week** Weekends and Evenings Required.
+ Review Appeals: Investigate and resolve appeals related to healthcare benefits, claims, and coverage.
+ Analyze Documentation: Analyze and interpret complex medical and legal documentation to determine the validity of appeals.
+ Communicate with Stakeholders: Effectively communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers to gather information and provide updates.
+ Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records in the appeals database.
+ Identify Trends: Identify trends and patterns in appeals to inform process improvement initiatives.
+ Provide Support: Offer guidance and support to clients and team members as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous pharmacy technician experience
+ Experience with appeals
+ AS400 experience
+ Knowledge of Medicare advantage
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
