Part-Time Permanent or Short term Housekeeper job near Welwyn, Hertfordshire

A lovely family of four are looking to hire a housekeeper to help with their five-bedroom house. The family have children who are away at university, completing the family is their beloved small pet dog. The household is informal with modern fixtures and fittings. Their last housekeeper was with them for 20 years so they are looking for someone who wants to stay with them long term. The current housekeeper is happy to do a handover. The family also employ a gardener who has been with the family for 15 years and a dog sitter. From time to time you might be needed to do the occasional dog walk. The ideal person should be able to be confident to manage their own time and to be forward thinking to realise when contractors need to be called out for repairs or maintenance as the family do not micro-manage they are looking for someone who can come in and just get on with things. 

Duties include:

Cleaning and deep cleaning when the family are away

Laundry and ironing

Occasionally dog walks

Driving is essential.

The ideal candidate for this role will be hardworking, reliable, flexible, and pet-friendly.

House: 5 bedrooms, 2 floors

Days & Hours: 2 or 3 days a week; 16 hours a week 

Salary: £18 - £20 gross per hour

Start: As soon as the right person is found
