Day in the Life of a Nurse PractitionerEvaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings.
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.
Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
Schedule & LocationsThis position is on-site and will support 2 centers: Pounding Mill and Wise.

2 days in Wise center
1 day in Pounding Mill center
Sample schedule: Pounding Mill Tuesdays 9-1, Wise Wednesdays10-2 and Fridays 9-2 with injection days being Wednesdays and Fridays.
Some medications offered included: Buprenorphine and Sulocade.
Education and Licensure RequirementsLicensed Virginia Nurse Practitioner
Candidates must have a Virginia DEA license when applying
Additional education or certification may be required depending on state of practice.
