The Biology Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the Biology Laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples. 

 

What you will do: 
 

Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 

Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.

Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.

Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.

Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.

Other duties as required. 

 

What you will bring: 
 

High school diploma or equivalent.  

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.  

1-3 years of previous experience working in an a laboratory is preferred.  

Knowledge of analytical methods, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety preferred.
