Audacy Kansas City 96.5 The Fan is looking for a part time, fill in host. Candidates must have on-air, hosting experience in radio, television or podcasting. Candidates must have local knowledge of Kansas City, its teams and community. If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities

 

What You'll Do:

 

Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presenceProtect the station’s FCC licenseMonitor the music and commercial logs for the airshiftEnsure that promotions and contests are executed properlyOperate the control board and perform production workMake personal appearances at station events and remote broadcastsOther duties as required by management Qualifications

 

Required & Preferred:

 

Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skillsCandidates must have at least 3 years radio experience and success in a medium to large market, or equivalent experience in a related sports profession. This unique individual should possess a strong radio background and have an interest in sports, and be prepared to handle the most passionate sports fans in the world. Must have solid productions skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems.Knowledge of the format and audience required.Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays as this job may require itExcellent on-air voice with demonstrated track record required
