The College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University is seeking a Part-time Instructor to teach CSD 600: Dementia. This is a one credit, 8 week course taught in Fall 2024. This course studies the atypical aging process of the major neurocognitive disorder known as dementia. Students learn about diagnostic criteria, evidence-based cognitive-linguistic and swallowing assessment procedures, and cognitive-linguistic and swallowing treatment techniques to enable them to provide interventions to individuals with this condition. The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per‐credit‐rate‐history within the hiring department.
