Part Time CRJ Flight Simulator Instructor II

Are you looking to ELEVATE your career?  Join our team of elite Simulator Instructors at CAE and you’ll experience a new career where you can pursue your passion for aviation without the extensive travel or missing those important holidays and events!  CAE is seeking a Part Time ATP/CTP CRJ Sim/ Ground School Instructor to join our training department in Phoenix, Arizona.

What to expect?  CAE offers a comprehensive training program to help transform your knowledge and skills as a pilot into a world-class Instructor and subject matter expert ready to lead clients thru their training.   

How does schedule work: We ask that you can provide 10 to 12 days of availability per month. You provide us your availability at the end of prior month then we will do our best to get you scheduled based on business needs.

A “true” professional character with the ability to create a welcoming and successful learning environmentThe proven ability to communicate effectively across all mediums (spoken, written) and at all levelsCommitment to the customer - providing continuous “red carpet” customer serviceThe capability to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer baseA keen eye for detail – must be able and willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and FAA requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Must be authorized to live/work in the United StatesAn unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating (no limitations other than circling approach) (no SOE limitations)Minimum of 2 years' Part 121 experience preferredPreference will be given to those who have CL65 typePrevious Simulator Instructor experience preferredBasic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet based programsMust be able and willing to participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
