Examples of Duties + Enforce City of Detroit parking ordinances and regulations. + Patrol an assigned area on foot or in a vehicle. + Operate hand-held computerized devices. + Place/remove immobilization devices on/from vehicles. + Operate camera and video equipment in conjunction with the immobilization of vehicles. + Operate two-way communications equipment. + Complete departmental forms and records. + Respond to the public’s questions and refer complex matters to appropriate departmental personnel. + Testify in court proceedings, as required. + Participate in automobile auction detail. + Participate in departmental citizen assistance programs. Minimum Qualifications High School graduation or G.E.D.
