Responsibilities 

Assessing Patients  Responding to a variety of Emergencies  Performing Patient Care  Providing safe and rapid transport to local Emergency Departments  Documenting Patient Care  Communicating with Physicians, Nurses, and Support Staff 

Requirements 

 State Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic   National Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic (Preferred)   State Certification as an Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator (EMSVO)   Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification (Required)   Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required for Paramedic)   Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required for Paramedic)    Ability to think critically, and deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced   environment    Mandated and Perissive Reporter Training required
